The Winter Bridal Extravaganza

Utah Wedding Decor & More had the opportunity to have a booth at the Bridal Extravaganza held at the Davis Conference Center this past Saturday the 25th of January. We had so much fun while also having the honor of meeting so many amazing brides while we were there! We are so appreciative to those who took the time to meet with us and learn more about us and what we can do for them on their special day. We are excited to work with many of the beautiful brides we met with on Saturday and look forward to the next bridal show we get to be a part of. Historic Machine Shop Reception in Wyoming

We were able to be a part of a special reception that took place in Evanston Wyoming in a beautiful historic machine shop. This building was so rustic and unique as well as HUGE! We did our elegant ceiling canopy with our beautiful chandelier that was the focal point of this room, we also set up our gazebo that we added blue lights to. The linen colors that were chosen for this reception were royal blue with silver, two colors that go beautifully together. With the colors being blue and silver we decided to add blue lights to our canopy as well as the gazebo, it gave it that extra flare that we were looking for!
    

Clint & Rebecca's Wedding

We felt so honored to be a part of Rebecca and Clint Amato's wedding day, such a beautiful couple! Rebecca wanted a gothic look to her reception so she picked out a black damask pattern with a dark red which was truly stunning! We used a black table cloths with a damask pattern table runner, the chair covers were white and the ties were a black damask pattern as well. For the centerpiece we used our beautiful antique picture frame with a tall black vase topped with a dark red flower bundle. We accented the centerpiece with a black wood box that was also topped with a dark red flower bundle. We had a damask pattern back drop with a beautiful black chandelier that was the highlight of the room. And if that isn't beautiful enough we topped it off with a lighted canopy that took your breath away when you entered the room. What an amazing night for an amazing couple! Congratulations you two!
        

Shawn & Shelbie's Wedding

We had the privilege of being a part of Shelbie and Shawn's wedding day, they were such a sweet couple to work with and we couldn't be happier for them! Shelbie loved the look that we used for our tables at the reception center open house so her tables were set up exactly the same. We added a little extra flare with a beautiful ceiling canopy,a backdrop and our adorable gazebo that is used to highlight the wedding cake. She decided on our rod iron backdrop that really added to the romantic feel of the room and some string lights that surrounded the table that we tiered for the buffet. This really turned out  to be a beautiful event for a beautiful couple!
   

Open House Event

We had the opportunity to be a part of an open house for a reception center that is under new management in Ogden. They were looking for something a little shabby chic that would stand out in the beautiful gardens of the reception center. With it being during the month of September we decided to use a burnt orange fabric on top of a burlap overlay which worked so well together. We also wanted the color that was used on the chair ties to really pop so we went with turquoise, it turned out absolutely beautiful! We took this look and added an antique picture holder with a simple glass vase that we filled with a burnt orange flower bundle. Along with this arrangement we also put a mason jar in the centerpiece that we added a burlap strip to with a dainty cream flower. Fabulous!

      

60th Anniversary Party

This past weekend we had the opportunity to help set up for the celebration of the Taylor's 60th wedding anniversary. It was held outside in a family members backyard, it was a beautiful day for a beautiful celebration. We had our stunning gazebo set up for the cake and cupcake table, we had it draped in lights and tulle to give it that romantic feel! We had the opportunity to use our antique door photo gallery which really turned out stunning. The color scheme was a damask pattern with purple, since purple was the couples wedding color 60 years ago! The event was a blast to prepare for and we are so excited for the couple and are appreciative to have been a part of it!

Beautiful Barn Event

 

This past weekend we had the opportunity to set up a beautiful event that took place at the Jeppson barn in Farmington. This barn made the perfect setting for a romantic rustic environment that we had a blast putting together. We used very soft colors that didn't take away from the beautiful architecture of this old barn. Our centerpieces consisted of glass jars that we filled with river rocks and added old twigs with subtle flowers, we also hung some strand of jewels from the twigs to give it a little flare! Each table also had a different accessory that we added next to the glass vase that turned out so amazing. Our goal was to create an inviting space with a little shabby chic on the side! We really had such a great time with this event and hope to decorate like this some time soon!!
